Woodforde’s Online Shop Terms and Conditions

By using the Woodforde’s website and online shop you agree to the following terms:

• YOUR ORDER
  
  Woodforde’s will not sell beer to anyone who is under the age of 18 years old. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you accept responsibility for ensuring that delivery is accepted by a person over 18 years of age. Please note that, in cases of doubt, the delivery driver is instructed to ask for evidence of age.
  
  All goods are offered for sale subject to stock availability.
  
  A legally binding contract with you will come into effect when we debit your credit card. We will debit the price and the relevant delivery charge. This agreement is governed by English Law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
  
  All products are supplied for personal use and are not intended for resale.
   
• PRICES & PAYMENT
  
  Prices quoted on the Woodforde’s website are correct at the time of publishing and include VAT. We reserve the right to vary these prices from time to time as a result of circumstances beyond our control.
  
  Our terms are cash with order. Payment must be made in £ sterling and may be made by cheque or by Visa, Mastercard, or Maestro Credit or Switch cards.
   
• DELIVERY
  
  Due to the nature of ‘Real Ale’, and Excise Duty regulations, delivery can only be made to addresses in the UK.
  
  Delivery charges are shown on the ‘Checkout’ section of the online ordering site. For delivery to UK addresses not on the mainland, please contact the brewery for details.
  
  Our deliveries are normally made by carrier and it is essential to check all goods before signing for them. If the ‘Instructions if nobody home’ box is completed, we will endeavour to comply within reason but cannot be held responsible in the case of any loss or damage resulting from such actions on your behalf.
  
  Deliveries are normally made on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays or Fridays (Ex Bank Holidays) to ensure that delivery takes place within a day of the beer leaving the brewery. 
  
  We will endeavour to process your order promptly and meet your required delivery date subject to the above. If we are aware that this is subject to a delay then we will let you know by email.
   
• EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS
  
  If you are unfortunate enough to receive a seriously damaged consignment, please write ‘Damaged' clearly on the consignment note beneath your signature. Please advise us on 01603 722218 if you have not received your beer on the agreed date.
  
  All claims for damaged or missing goods must be notified within 7 days of delivery or, in the case of non-delivery, within 7 days of the anticipated date of delivery. Goods requested to be left unsigned for are left at the customer's own risk.
  
  We shall not be liable for any consequential loss, including (but not limited to) loss caused by late delivery, where such loss is not caused by any breach on the part of Woodforde’s, its employees or agents.
  
  If for any reason you are unhappy with your beer purchase we will be pleased to exchange or refund provided it is returned within 14 days and in the original packaging, accompanied by the delivery note, and your reason for return including details of how the beer has been stored and served. Storage, preparation, temperature and serving instructions shown on the packaging must be observed throughout the life of the beer.
  
  We will not accept responsibility for lost goods or postal costs incurred when returning non-faulty goods. Once we have received the product we will refund the price of the product. All claims for faulty products must be agreed by Woodforde’s and accompanied by a postal receipt. This does not affect your statutory rights.
  
  Please note that all returns must be sent back using recorded delivery to: Woodforde’s Ltd, Shop & Visitor Centre, Broadland Brewery, Woodbastwick, Norwich, NR13 6SW.
   
• CUSTOMS  DUTIES
  
  •All orders are for deliveries within the UK and prices include current UK Excise Duty.

  •All designs, text, graphics and other contents/arrangements of the site in whatever format belong to Woodforde’s Ltd. All rights in these are reserved other than expressly permitted herein: permission is granted to copy electronically and to print hard copy portions of this site only for browsing the Woodforde’s site. Other than such use, no permission is granted including for reproduction, modification, distribution, republication purposes without Woodforde’s prior written consent. All trade marks, service marks and trade names mentioned in the Woodforde’s site are the property of Woodforde’s or other respective owners that have granted Woodforde’s the right and licence to use such marks.
