 Woodforde’s brewery has confirmed their commitment to Norfolk Rugby Football Union by extending their sponsorship of all levels across Norfolk.
The brewery, Norfolk’s largest brewer, has committed to support the game over the next three years by sponsoring the under 13s cup, the under 16s cup, the Norfolk plate and the Norfolk junior cup.
Dennis Nudd, joint managing director at Woodforde’s, commented, ‘In many ways Woodforde’s sponsorship of Norfolk Rugby Football Union is the perfect match. Running out onto a Norfolk pitch with the scent of fresh mown grass in your nostrils, you know that there’s something special about the blend of earth and sky here. All Woodforde’s malting barley is grown in Norfolk and we use the water from our own spring in our brewing. Both rugby and brewing a Woodforde’s ale are good, solid, earthy activities rooted in the Norfolk soil.’.
