 The Brewery has recenty appointed Neil Bain as Head Brewer. For the past 12 years Mr Bain has been director of brewing at the Highgate Brewery in Walsall where he oversaw the introduction of new technology into the processes.
‘Neil has an impressive pedigree in the world of brewing, having studied and qualified as a Master Brewer with some of the most respected names in the industry like John Bexon, director of brewing at Greene King, and Alan Pateman, Head Brewer at Elgoods of Wisbech,’ said joint Managing Director Dennis Nudd.
“My heart and soul is in brewing Cask Ale, and I am over the moon about joining one of the most dynamic and exciting real ale breweries in the UK.” said Neil. “My role at Woodforde’s is not to change the outstanding range of award-winning beers, but to ensure consistency and promoting best brewing practices in this rapidly expanding brewery” he added.
