YOUR BEERBOX CONTAINS LIVE YEAST AND WE RECOMMEND THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS BE READ CAREFULLY AND FOLLOWED TO GET THE BEST FROM IT:
INITIAL STORAGE When first received, store upright with the tap tear-out panel uppermost.
TEMPERATURE Correct temperature is important: store at a COOL temperature of approx. 12C; too warm and the beer will not taste refreshing, too cold – the beer will go flat and hazy. In warm conditions, insert an icepack inside the box. AVOID FROSTS in winter!
RELEASING PRESSURE With the box still upright, open the tap to release any excess gas, then close. Repeat this operation as necessary if the plastic bag becomes inflated.
24 HOURS BEFORE USE Tear out the perforated tap panel and place the Beerbox horizontally on a stable surface. Tilt the box slightly forward with a 4cm wedge or a Woodforde’s ‘Beerbox Buddy’. DO NOT MOVE the Beerbox again.
SERVING Draw off the first ¼ pint and discard. The beer should now be clear and ready to drink.
BEST BEFORE See ‘Best Before date’ located above tap.
